Draft Survey / Bunker Survey Inspection
The Draft Survey or supervision by drafts consists of determining the total or partial dry load of a material transported by ship by reading the drafts using Archimedes’ principle, which becomes the fundamental principle of buoyancy, showing that the The weight of an object floating in a fluid – float – is equal to the weight of the volume of the fluid that the submerged part of it displaces.
- Loading and unloading supervision.
- Inspection of the ship’s holds (Seals, material, sampling as required).
- Determination of humidity of the sample according to request or requirement.
- Weight determination by Draft (Draft Survey).
- Measurement (Balance Tanks, Fuel Oil, Sea Wather Density, General Deductibles, etc.).
- Documentation (Cargo Plan, Hydrostatic Tables, State of Fact, vessel constants).
- Final cargo certification.
- Discharge control by means of records obtained on land. (Weight).
- Traceability of the material unloaded from the port to its reception point at the plant.
